Introduction

Welcome to the Cell and Developmental Biology Literature Guide. 

This guide contains selected core reference and other literature finding aids for this subject area. 

 

Definitions:

Cell biology is "the study of the activities, functions, properties, and structures of cells."¹  more 

Formerly known as emybryology, developmental biology is "the study of all changes associated with an organism as it progresses through the life cycle."² more
