There are two major texts for locating analyses of works. If the work you are studying is not listed, see the tips below for finding analyses via the library catalog and journal databases.

Finding analyses books or articles
If the work you are studying is not included in Diamond or Hoek, search the library catalog books that may include analysis of your piece. You can also search in journal databases to find individual articles about your piece.
Some examples of subject headings in the catalog that might help you find analysis:
- Berg, Alban, 1885-1935--Criticism and interpretation.
- Harmonic analysis.
