Luso-Brazilian Studies at UIUC Library
Luso-Brazilian studies are spread over several libraries in the UIUC Library system.
Brazilian Literature, Language and Culture
The Modern Language and Linguistics Library (ML&L Library) houses a small collection of print reference and circulation materials; offers reference and instruction services; and features webguides in the areas of Brazilian literature, language and culture. The bulk of the collection is in the Main Stack, primarily in 6.5 West. The Latin American and Caribbean Library, though it acquires most of the materials for Brazil, does not house them, as it has neither a reference nor circulating collection.
Brazilian History
The Latin American and Caribbean Library and the History, Philosophy and Newspaper Library both collect in the areas of Brazilian History but send the materials to the Main Stacks.
Portuguese Literature, Language and Culture
The Modern Language and Linguistics Library (ML&L Library) houses a small collection of print reference and circulation materials; offers reference and instruction services; and features webguides in the areas of Portuguese literature, language and culture.. The bulk of the collection is in the Main Stack, primarily in 6.5 West.
