This icon indicates an electronic resource is available.
There are two options to find eBooks when using the library website:
Easy Search is the fastest way to locate Library eBooks
Easy Search searches many resources at once and provides a list of resources available through a variety of sources including the library catalog, electronic journals, eBooks, Google Books, IDEALS and more.
Easy Search Results are broken down into categories.
The eBook results are listed under the category "Books, Multimedia in UIUC & Illinois Libraries and Full-Text Books."
For Illinois catalog results, a separate "eBook matches" link is on the right after the total matches link. There are also links to eBooks by publisher (i.e. Springer, Elsevier, etc) and Google Books results.

PLEASE NOTE: Electronic books from other libraries cannot be accessed even though they appear in the I-share catalog.
!. Finding eBooks with Easy Search
Start at the Library home page and begin your eBook topic search in the easy seach box
The results should look like this:
*You are looking for any result that lists e-book in the title*
2. Browsing eBooks in the Catalog
You can also access electronic books through the library catalog.
Once you navigate to the catalog you will want to use the advanced search option.
You can browse the library's eBooks in the catalog by preforming a keyword search and selecting Electronic under "version" and Book under "format."
