Journals
Most journals can be located in the Online Research Resources page under the general area of Social Science and the subjects "Business", "Economics" and "Labor & Industrial Relations." It is best to type the journal title in the search box, then click the radio button "Title Keywords."
The top journals by discipline within Management were selected as they are peer-reviewed and have a high impact factor in the Web of Science's Journal Citation Reports. The journals are also ones that Illinois Business Faculty have published articles in them.
Journal Backfiles
JSTOR (coverage varies)- contains the full text of several hundred journals in the areas of African American studies, anthropology, area studies, botany, general science, music, business, ecology, economics, education, history, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, sociology, and statistics. Most include full texts of complete journals from their inception up to a "moving wall." The moving wall is a fixed period of time ranging, in most cases, from 2 to 5 years, that defines the gap between the most recently published issue and the date of the most recent issues available in JSTOR. The Library will, in many cases, have a separate subscription for the more recent issues. For ease of searching to limit the search to business and economics journals, use the Advanced Search engine.
Science Direct Freedom Collection is another backfile collection for Elsevier Journals.
