General Information

    This site is the official web portal of the US government. It includes a main search box, and sections about finding government agencies and contact information for officials and agencies. The visitor can also browse by topic, including voting, travel, environment, home, and health. There are highlighted sections for citizens, kids, businesses, visitors, seniors, and federal employees.

    The Official Handbook of the US Government, the United States Government Manual, includes mission statements, descriptions, organization charts, and contact information for agencies and offices, and independent boards, commissions, committees, and quasi-official agencies.
