This hands-on workshop will provide instruction on how to locate and access books, videos, and audio books, as well as online resources, including popular newspapers and magazines. Time: 3-4pm
Location: Research Park - Thu, Oct 22nd, 2009: Library Tour
The tour will stop at several libraries as well as talk about the history of the building, art in the library and take a peek behind-the-scenes in the Cataloging Department.

WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
The University Library strives to meet the information needs of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute through world class collections, targeted instruction and open events.
As part of the land grant mission, the University Library partners with OLLI to bring members access to the third largest university research library in North America and the largest publicly-supported university research library in the world. As an OLLI member, you have are able to check out materials from the library including books and videos, access online databases such PubMed and ArtStor as well as read online newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. This guide is meant to introduce you to the many resources of the University Library and help you to find your way around in-person and online.
