Circulation Policies for Videos
There are several aspects of checking out videos from the Undergraduate Library that you need to be aware of:
- All videos are available for a one week loan period.
- OLLI members have no limit on number of items checked out.
- All media items from the Undergraduate Library must be picked up and returned at the UGL Information Services Desk.
- Videos checked out will not appread in your "My Account" feature online.
- You will receive an email to your UIUC email address when items become overdue.
Movies, Movies, Movies!
The University Library has videos in many formats including VHS tapes, DVDs, even online streaming video! There are media viewing booths in the Undergraduate Library as well on a first come, first served basis.
- Movies in the UIUC collection
Search the online catalog for movies available at the University Library. - About the Undergraduate Media Collection The Undergraduate Library houses the primary audio-video collection within the University Library. Learn about the collection and how to request a purchase.
- Digital Media Collection The Undergraduate Library (UGL) recently purchased 260 full-length films as digital files. The films, both documentaries and a select list of feature films, are from Films Media Group and can be viewed as streaming video on your home computer.
