Portals & Guides: Gender Studies
A number of portals and guides devoted to gender studies and gender issues can be found on the open Web. These can serve as starting points for productive research. Two of the most comprehensive and useful general guides are the Association of College & Research Libraries' Women's Studies Section's WSSLINKS : Women and Gender Studies Web Sites and the University of Maryland's Women's Studies/Women's Issues Resource Sites. The Slavic Reference Service, in collaboration with Barbara Bulat of the Biblioteka Jagiellonska in Kraków, has also created its own guides to Russian and Polish gender studies as part of its Introduction to Slavic Information Resources. Portals & Guides: Government Publications
Many documents and publications emanating from the governments of Russia and Eurasian countries can be found in full text using ISI Emerging Markets and the East View databases. The Slavic Reference Service's guide to Slavic Internet Resources leads to a number of government websites, including:
