Founded in 2007, the Center for Translation Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers an interdisciplinary, scholarly approach to the increasingly important field of translation studies.

Finding translation studies materials

For items owned by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign:

  • In the Online Library Catalog, you can browse items related to translation and interpretation by searching for "Translating and interpreting" as the Subject Heading.  

 Results will be shown chronologically.

  • In the main stacks, works about translation are mostly found within the Applied Linguistics call number range 418.
  • Browse the shelves at the Modern Languages and Linguistics Library in Room 425 of the Main Library.
