This guide contains selected core reference and other literature finding aids for animal biology and zoology.
Definitions:
Zoology is "the science that deals with knowledge of animal life. Together with botany, the science of plants, it forms biology, the science of living things." Major zoology fields are anatomy, physiology, embryology, genetics, parasitology, natural history, ecology, evolution, and taxonomy. ¹ more
